Duncan Turner lives in the Northamptonshire countryside. He is an amateur artist, bird watcher and wildlife enthusiast, with a keen imagination. Whilst sitting in his garden one day, he observed a bumble bee flying in and out of a hole, all day long, Duncan named the bee Mr Bimble, and would say, “hello!” to Mr Bimble every morning. This then inspired him to write a story about the little bee for his grandson. With his artistic skills, he was also able to illustrate the book.
